About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dependable and results-oriented Assistant Manager to support day-to-day operations, team performance, process execution, and departmental objectives.

The Assistant Manager will work closely with department leadership to coordinate activities, monitor performance, resolve operational issues, support employees, and ensure business priorities are executed efficiently. The ideal candidate combines strong organizational skills with leadership ability, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the Manager in overseeing daily departmental operations.
  • Coordinate team activities, priorities, schedules, and workloads.
  • Monitor employee performance and operational productivity.
  • Assist with implementing departmental goals, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare operational reports, performance summaries, and management updates.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements.
  • Support employee training, onboarding, coaching, and development.
  • Address routine operational issues and escalate complex matters appropriately.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities with other departments.
  • Monitor service levels, quality standards, deadlines, and performance targets.
  • Assist with budgeting, expense monitoring, and resource allocation.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and operational reports.
  • Support implementation of new processes, systems, and business initiatives.
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies and applicable requirements.
  • Participate in meetings and communicate departmental priorities to team members.
  • Track projects, assignments, and key deliverables.
  • Provide coverage for the Manager when required.
  • Support employee engagement and team-building initiatives.
  • Analyze performance data and recommend corrective actions.
  • Contribute to continuous-improvement and operational-excellence initiatives.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–6 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Previous supervisory, team-lead, coordination, or management experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of business operations and administrative processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and business-management systems.
  • Strong reporting, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with performance metrics and operational KPIs.
  • Strong understanding of process improvement and workflow management.
  • Experience with project-management tools is a plus.

Working Conditions

  • Fully Remote position within the United States.
  • Standard Monday through Friday schedule.
  • Occasional flexibility may be required to support business priorities, team meetings, or operational deadlines.
  • Frequent virtual collaboration with managers, employees, and cross-functional teams.
  • Primarily computer-based work using business, reporting, project-management, and collaboration platforms.
  • Occasional travel may be required for company meetings, training, conferences, or team events.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package: $85,000 – $125,000 annually, based on management experience, industry expertise, departmental scope, and overall qualifications.
