About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, automate, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and reliable software-delivery environments.
The Cloud DevOps Engineer will work closely with Software Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and QA teams to improve deployment velocity, system reliability, infrastructure automation, observability, and cloud security. The ideal candidate combines strong cloud engineering expertise with automation, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and production operations experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code.
- Manage cloud environments across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Deploy and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement automated deployment, testing, and release processes.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure, applications, and services for availability and performance.
- Configure logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and production issues.
- Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
- Implement cloud security, identity, access, and network controls.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or comparable languages.
- Maintain Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure-as-Code configurations.
- Collaborate with developers to improve application deployment and operational reliability.
- Support cloud migrations and infrastructure-modernization initiatives.
- Implement backup, disaster-recovery, and business-continuity solutions.
- Establish DevOps standards, documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Evaluate new cloud and DevOps technologies and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to DevOps best practices across the organization.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, systems engineering, or infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Advanced knowledge of CI/CD platforms and deployment automation.
- Strong experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or comparable IaC tools.
- Strong Docker and Kubernetes experience.
- Proficiency in Linux administration.
- Strong scripting experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
- Experience with Git and modern source-control workflows.
- Knowledge of networking, DNS, load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, and cloud networking.
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms.
- Strong understanding of cloud security and IAM principles.
- AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certification preferred.

Working Conditions
- Fully Remote position within the United States.
- Standard Monday through Friday schedule.
- On-call or after-hours support may occasionally be required for critical production incidents.
- Frequent collaboration with Engineering, Security, Cloud Architecture, QA, and IT teams.
- Primarily computer-based technical work using cloud-management, automation, monitoring, and development platforms.
- Occasional travel may be required for technical workshops, company meetings, conferences, or infrastructure initiatives.
Job Function
The Cloud DevOps Engineer is responsible for cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, container orchestration, automation, monitoring, security, deployment management, incident response, cloud optimization, and platform reliability.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package: $155,000 – $235,000 annually, based on DevOps experience, cloud expertise, technical specialization, certification level, infrastructure complexity, and overall qualifications.
