About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to lead the organization’s compliance program, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. This leadership role is responsible for developing compliance strategies, strengthening governance frameworks, managing regulatory risk, and promoting a culture of ethics and accountability across the organization.
The Compliance Manager will collaborate closely with Legal, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Human Resources, Finance, Information Security, Operations, and Executive Leadership to identify compliance risks, implement effective controls, oversee regulatory reporting, and maintain enterprise-wide compliance programs. This position will also provide guidance on evolving regulatory requirements while supporting business initiatives in a rapidly changing environment.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive knowledge of corporate compliance, regulatory frameworks, governance, and risk management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage the organization’s enterprise compliance program.
- Monitor federal, state, and industry regulations to ensure ongoing organizational compliance.
- Design and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks.
- Conduct enterprise compliance risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Lead compliance audits, internal reviews, and regulatory examinations.
- Partner with Legal and Internal Audit teams to address compliance findings and corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver compliance training and ethics awareness programs for employees.
- Oversee regulatory reporting, documentation, and compliance record management.
- Investigate potential compliance violations, ethical concerns, and policy breaches.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, corporate governance, anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with business leaders to integrate compliance considerations into operational processes.
- Monitor third-party vendor compliance and support due diligence activities.
- Prepare executive reports, compliance dashboards, and risk assessments for senior leadership.
- Recommend process improvements that strengthen governance and operational compliance.
- Manage compliance-related projects, budgets, and external regulatory relationships.

Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Risk Management, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree, JD, or professional compliance certification (CCEP, CRCM, CAMS, or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive compliance, governance, risk management, or regulatory experience.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of corporate compliance frameworks, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience conducting compliance audits, investigations, and risk assessments.
- Familiarity with privacy regulations, ethics programs, governance standards, and enterprise risk management.
- Experience working with compliance management systems, GRC platforms, and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical business guidance.

The Compliance Manager serves as a trusted advisor responsible for protecting the organization through effective governance, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation. This role partners with Executive Leadership, Legal, Internal Audit, Human Resources, Information Security, Finance, and Operations to ensure compliance programs support business objectives while maintaining the highest ethical and regulatory standards.

Working Conditions
- Fully Remote position within the United States.
- Standard Monday through Friday business schedule with flexibility to support regulatory deadlines and audits.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package: $185,000 – $275,000 annually, based on compliance leadership experience, industry expertise, regulatory knowledge, certifications, organizational complexity, and overall qualifications.
