About the Organization

We are a large, enterprise-scale SaaS, AI-enabled technology, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital workplace, enterprise systems, and IT service operations organization supporting a distributed workforce, modern cloud platforms, internal business systems, customer-facing teams, security-sensitive workflows, and complex enterprise operations across the United States. The company operates in a fast-moving technology environment where IT operations directly influence employee productivity, system reliability, service delivery, security readiness, business continuity, collaboration quality, and operational scalability.

This is not a traditional IT operations role focused only on ticket queues, device support, or routine systems maintenance. The Director of IT Operations will lead a modern IT operations function responsible for ensuring the company’s technology environment is secure, reliable, scalable, well-supported, and aligned with the needs of a remote-first enterprise. This role will connect IT service delivery, infrastructure operations, endpoint management, identity and access support, enterprise applications, vendor coordination, asset management, support workflows, and operational reporting into one disciplined IT operating model.

The company is continuing to invest in cloud-based collaboration platforms, IT service management, endpoint security, identity governance, automation, remote workforce enablement, enterprise application support, device lifecycle management, vendor performance, knowledge management, access controls, internal systems reliability, and IT operations analytics. As the organization grows, leadership is seeking a Director of IT Operations who can bring technical operations depth, service leadership, process discipline, employee-centered thinking, and strong cross-functional partnership to a highly visible role.

The Director of IT Operations will oversee IT support, infrastructure operations, service delivery, endpoint management, device provisioning, identity access workflows, enterprise applications support, vendor coordination, IT asset management, incident response support, IT documentation, and performance reporting. This leader will work closely with the CIO, VP of IT, CISO, Security, HR, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Product, Engineering, Operations, Data Analytics, and business leaders to ensure IT services support employee productivity and enterprise technology priorities.

This role requires a leader who understands how IT operations must function inside a large remote organization. The ideal candidate will know how to improve service quality, build strong support routines, manage escalations, strengthen documentation, improve onboarding and offboarding, support secure access practices, coordinate with cybersecurity teams, optimize tools, reduce recurring issues, and lead IT teams with accountability and urgency.

The selected candidate will help build a more mature, measurable, and responsive IT operations function. This includes improving ticket performance, strengthening system reliability, supporting ITSM process maturity, enhancing remote employee support, improving device and asset visibility, building knowledge base standards, and ensuring IT operations becomes a trusted service partner across the enterprise.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an IT operations leader who wants to improve technology reliability, support a large distributed workforce, strengthen IT processes, and help a technology-driven organization scale with secure, dependable, and employee-friendly IT services.
