About the Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Director of Partnerships to lead the organization’s partnership strategy, alliance development, and ecosystem growth initiatives. This leadership role is responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships that expand market reach, accelerate revenue growth, enhance customer value, and strengthen the organization’s competitive position.

The Director of Partnerships will collaborate closely with Executive Leadership, Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Legal, Finance, and Operations teams to establish long-term partnerships with technology providers, channel partners, resellers, system integrators, and strategic business organizations. This role will develop partnership frameworks, oversee alliance performance, and drive mutually beneficial business outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in partnership development, business development, strategic alliances, and executive relationship management. Success in this role requires exceptional negotiation skills, commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to cultivate trusted relationships with senior business leaders.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the organization’s strategic partnership and alliance strategy.
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships that support revenue growth and business expansion.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic partners, technology providers, and industry organizations.
  • Lead negotiations for partnership agreements, commercial terms, and strategic alliances.
  • Develop partnership business plans, growth initiatives, and joint go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to maximize partnership-generated revenue opportunities.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to support product integrations and technology alliances.
  • Manage partner onboarding, enablement, performance reviews, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Establish partnership KPIs, performance dashboards, and executive reporting.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Finance teams to ensure contractual compliance and financial alignment.
  • Develop partner incentive programs, co-marketing initiatives, and joint customer engagement strategies.
  • Resolve partnership challenges while maintaining strong long-term business relationships.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking events, and executive meetings.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing partnerships and alliances team.
  • Continuously improve partnership processes, governance, and operational effectiveness.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in strategic partnerships, business development, alliances, or enterprise sales.
  • Proven success developing and managing high-value strategic partnerships.
  • Strong experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and partnership contracts.
  • Experience working with SaaS, technology, cloud services, or enterprise software organizations preferred.
  • Strong understanding of channel partnerships, technology alliances, and ecosystem development.
  • Experience managing revenue targets, partner programs, and executive stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior decision-makers.

Working Conditions

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package: $290,000 – $425,000 annually, based on partnership leadership experience, industry expertise, revenue impact, negotiation capabilities, and overall qualifications.
