About the Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director of Technology Operations to lead the organization’s technology operations, infrastructure services, IT service management, operational excellence, and enterprise technology initiatives. This executive-level leadership role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, scalability, and performance of technology operations while driving continuous improvement across IT services and operational processes.

The Director of Technology Operations will partner closely with Engineering, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, DevOps, Product Management, Customer Success, Finance, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership to align technology operations with business objectives. This leader will oversee technology service delivery, operational governance, cloud operations, vendor management, incident management, business continuity, and strategic technology planning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization’s technology operations strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Lead enterprise technology operations, IT service management, infrastructure, cloud operations, and operational support teams.
• Ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and reliability of enterprise technology platforms.
• Establish operational governance, service delivery standards, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee incident management, problem management, change management, and service request processes.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational resilience programs.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity teams to strengthen security operations, compliance, and risk management.
• Partner with Engineering and DevOps teams to improve deployment processes, operational automation, and platform reliability.
• Manage enterprise technology budgets, operational planning, resource allocation, and vendor relationships.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency and scalability.
• Monitor operational performance using dashboards, analytics, and executive reporting.
• Lead technology modernization, cloud transformation, automation, and digital operations initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop technology operations leaders, managers, and technical professionals.
• Present operational performance, strategic initiatives, and technology roadmaps to executive leadership.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in technology operations, IT infrastructure, cloud operations, or enterprise technology management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading enterprise technology operations teams.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Deep understanding of IT Service Management (ITIL), infrastructure operations, networking, cloud technologies, and enterprise systems.
• Experience managing large-scale technology operations, service delivery, and operational transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational risk management.
• Experience with monitoring, automation, ITSM platforms, and enterprise operational analytics.

Compensation & Benefits
