About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven District Manager to provide operational and commercial leadership across a portfolio of locations within an assigned district. This role will be responsible for driving revenue, profitability, customer experience, employee performance, operational standards, and business growth across multiple locations.

The District Manager will lead and coach location managers, analyze district performance, implement operational strategies, and ensure consistent execution of company standards. The ideal candidate brings strong multi-unit leadership experience, financial acumen, people-management capabilities, and a track record of improving business performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations across multiple locations within an assigned district.
  • Develop and execute district-level business plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Establish sales, profitability, productivity, customer-service, and operational targets.
  • Monitor location performance and develop corrective action plans where necessary.
  • Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop location managers and leadership teams.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with location managers.
  • Analyze revenue, expenses, labor, inventory, customer metrics, and other operational KPIs.
  • Drive sales growth through local market strategies and customer-focused initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent execution of company policies, operating procedures, and brand standards.
  • Partner with Human Resources on staffing, employee relations, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Identify opportunities to improve labor productivity, operating efficiency, and profitability.
  • Support new-location openings, remodels, expansions, and operational transitions.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and implement initiatives to improve the customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, financial, and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams on district campaigns and promotional initiatives.
  • Review inventory, loss prevention, and expense-management performance where applicable.
  • Prepare district performance reports and present recommendations to regional leadership.
  • Identify high-potential employees and create development plans for future leadership roles.
  • Maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders, partners, and business communities.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive operational or multi-unit management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing managers or multiple locations.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales, profitability, and operational targets.
  • Strong financial and business-performance analysis skills.
  • Experience with workforce planning, employee development, and performance management.
  • Strong understanding of customer experience and operational excellence.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and business-reporting tools.
  • Experience with POS, ERP, workforce-management, or operational technology platforms preferred.
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, consumer services, healthcare services, or other multi-location environments preferred.

Strategic Support

The District Manager serves as a critical link between corporate leadership and field operations. By translating company strategy into actionable district plans, this role ensures that locations achieve consistent financial, operational, customer, and employee performance.

The position also provides regional leadership with valuable insights into local market conditions, competitive activity, customer trends, staffing needs, and operational opportunities.

Working Conditions

  • Remote-based position with regional travel.
  • Standard Monday through Friday schedule with flexibility based on operational requirements.
  • Regular travel to locations within the assigned district.
  • Occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays may be required depending on business needs.
  • Frequent virtual collaboration with Regional Directors, location managers, HR, Finance, Sales, and Operations.
  • Travel expenses reimbursed according to company policy.

Job Function

The District Manager is responsible for multi-location operations, sales performance, profitability, customer experience, workforce leadership, operational compliance, talent development, and execution of company strategy across an assigned district.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package: $150,000 – $225,000 annually, based on multi-unit leadership experience, district size, revenue responsibility, industry expertise, and overall qualifications.
