The Executive Director serves as a strategic advisor to the Chief Executive Officer and executive leadership team, overseeing organizational planning, business operations, financial performance, talent development, and cross-functional execution. Working closely with executive leadership, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Technology, Sales, Operations, and external stakeholders, the Executive Director will ensure strategic initiatives are successfully implemented while maintaining operational efficiency and organizational agility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute enterprise-wide strategic initiatives aligned with the organization’s mission, vision, and long-term objectives.
  • Partner with the CEO and executive leadership to establish annual business priorities and operational goals.
  • Provide leadership across multiple business functions while promoting organizational alignment and collaboration.
  • Drive operational excellence through process optimization, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead organizational growth initiatives, business transformation projects, and change management programs.
  • Oversee financial performance, budgeting, resource allocation, and operational planning in partnership with Finance leadership.
  • Build, mentor, and develop senior leaders while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Establish performance metrics and executive dashboards that support informed decision-making.
  • Strengthen relationships with clients, strategic partners, investors, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Identify business risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies that protect organizational objectives.
  • Represent the organization during executive meetings, industry conferences, and strategic partnership discussions.
  • Promote collaboration across departments to improve customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
  • Champion organizational culture initiatives that support employee engagement, diversity, and leadership excellence.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, Economics, or a related discipline required.
  • Master’s degree or MBA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive leadership experience, including at least 5 years in senior executive or director-level positions.
  • Proven experience leading large cross-functional teams within complex organizational environments.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing enterprise growth strategies.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, operational planning, and organizational development.
  • Experience managing organizational change, transformation initiatives, and business process improvements.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience working within remote, multi-state, or global organizations is highly desirable.

Working Conditions

  • Fully Remote position within the United States.
  • Executive-level schedule supporting multiple business units and time zones.
  • Approximately 20–30% domestic travel for executive leadership meetings, strategic planning sessions, customer engagements, and industry conferences.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package

Base Salary: $235,000 – $315,000 USD annually

Compensation is determined based on executive leadership experience, industry expertise, business impact, geographic location, and overall qualifications.
