We are seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst II to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, profitability analysis, and strategic planning initiatives. This position is responsible for delivering meaningful financial insights, identifying business trends, improving reporting processes, and partnering with cross-functional leaders to support enterprise decision-making.

The Financial Analyst II collaborates with Accounting, Treasury, Operations, Sales, Human Resources, Procurement, Business Intelligence, and Executive Leadership to improve financial performance while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Develop financial models supporting budgeting, capital planning, pricing, and investment decisions.
  • Analyze revenue, operating expenses, profitability, and key business performance indicators.
  • Support annual budgeting and long-range financial planning initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate operational performance and recommend financial improvements.
  • Monitor departmental spending and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Prepare executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and management presentations.
  • Perform scenario modeling, trend analysis, and business forecasting.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial close activities in collaboration with Accounting.
  • Assist with capital expenditure analysis and return-on-investment evaluations.
  • Improve reporting automation through business intelligence tools and financial systems.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, company financial policies, and internal control requirements.
  • Support internal and external audit requests with financial documentation and analysis.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities that enhance financial reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or business analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, and financial modeling techniques.
  • Experience with ERP and financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, Hyperion, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or comparable business intelligence tools is preferred.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • CPA, CFA, CMA, or MBA is considered an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Job Function

The Financial Analyst II is responsible for delivering financial analysis, budgeting support, forecasting, profitability reporting, and strategic insights that help guide enterprise business decisions. Success is measured through forecast accuracy, reporting quality, business impact, operational efficiency, compliance, and financial performance improvements.


Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package

Base Salary: $252,000 – $326,000 USD annually

Compensation is determined based on finance experience, technical expertise, analytical capabilities, geographic location, certifications, education, and overall qualifications.
