The Human Resources Manager serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders, partnering closely with executives and department managers to align talent strategies with business objectives. This position oversees core HR functions including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition support, workforce planning, leadership coaching, policy administration, compensation planning, compliance, and employee development.
Working collaboratively with Finance, Legal, Operations, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and executive leadership, the Human Resources Manager will help create programs that improve employee satisfaction, strengthen retention, and support a high-performing, inclusive workplace. The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong knowledge of U.S. employment regulations, and the ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day HR operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to develop and implement Human Resources strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Lead talent management initiatives including succession planning, employee development, and retention strategies.
- Support workforce planning, organizational design, and change management initiatives.
- Coach managers on leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and performance improvement.
- Oversee HR policy administration while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning activities.
- Manage annual performance review processes and employee development programs.
- Analyze HR metrics to identify workforce trends and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Partner with Finance to support compensation planning, salary reviews, and workforce budgeting.
- Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee engagement initiatives throughout the organization.
- Maintain HR documentation, policies, and confidential employee records.
- Support organizational transformation initiatives and continuous process improvement.
- Contribute to a positive workplace culture built on collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or a related discipline required.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 2 years in an HR leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience supporting remote or geographically distributed workforces.
- Demonstrated success managing employee relations, performance management, and organizational development initiatives.
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, UKG, ADP, BambooHR, or SAP SuccessFactors.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is highly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package
Base Salary: $145,000 – $185,000 USD annually
Compensation is determined based on experience, leadership expertise, business impact, geographic location, and overall qualifications.
