About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Human Resources Supervisor to oversee day-to-day HR operations, support employee relations, coordinate talent processes, and ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures.
The Human Resources Supervisor will serve as a key partner to employees, managers, HR leadership, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Benefits teams. The ideal candidate combines strong HR knowledge with excellent communication, organizational, employee-relations, and problem-solving capabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise daily HR operations and provide guidance to HR coordinators and specialists.
- Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management, and workplace concerns.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding processes.
- Ensure employee records and HRIS information remain accurate and up to date.
- Administer and communicate company HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Support performance review and employee development processes.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs.
- Assist with compensation, benefits, leave, and payroll-related HR activities.
- Investigate employee concerns and help resolve workplace issues appropriately.
- Maintain confidential personnel records and documentation.
- Monitor HR metrics including turnover, headcount, absenteeism, hiring activity, and employee engagement.
- Prepare HR reports and recommendations for HR leadership.
- Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruiting and workforce needs.
- Assist with employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
- Coordinate HR projects, audits, policy updates, and process improvements.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers regarding HR practices.
- Support organizational change and employee communication initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee experience, and operational efficiency.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of progressive HR experience.
- 2+ years of supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, HR operations, onboarding, performance management, and HR administration.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday, UKG, ADP, BambooHR, or similar systems.
- Strong understanding of U.S. employment practices and HR compliance.
- Experience handling confidential employee information and workplace matters.
- Strong Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.

Strategic Support
The Human Resources Supervisor helps ensure HR programs and processes are delivered consistently across the organization. By supporting managers, resolving employee concerns, maintaining accurate HR information, and improving people processes, this position contributes to employee engagement, retention, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.
The role also provides HR leadership with valuable insights into workforce trends and opportunities for improving the employee experience.
Working Conditions
- Fully Remote position within the United States.
- Standard Monday through Friday schedule.
- Flexibility may occasionally be required for employee or management matters across different time zones.
- Frequent virtual collaboration with employees, managers, HR leadership, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Acquisition.
- Primarily computer-based work using HRIS, payroll, benefits, recruiting, and collaboration platforms.
- Occasional travel for HR meetings, training sessions, conferences, and company events.
Job Function
The Human Resources Supervisor oversees HR operations, employee relations, HR administration, performance-management support, onboarding, policy administration, compliance activities, and supervision of HR staff.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package: $115,000 – $175,000 annually, based on HR leadership experience, organizational scope, industry background, HRIS expertise, and overall qualifications.
