The Inventory Specialist plays an integral role in maintaining inventory integrity by monitoring inventory transactions, analyzing inventory trends, reconciling discrepancies, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with Procurement, Warehouse Operations, Distribution, Finance, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Supply Chain Planning teams, this position helps ensure inventory processes remain accurate, efficient, and aligned with organizational objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records across multiple locations.
- Perform inventory reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
- Analyze inventory trends and prepare reports supporting purchasing and operational decisions.
- Coordinate inventory adjustments, cycle counts, and periodic inventory audits.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse Operations, and Supply Chain teams to optimize inventory availability.
- Support demand planning and inventory forecasting through data analysis and reporting.
- Maintain accurate product master data within inventory management systems.
- Identify process improvement opportunities that enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Assist with product returns, inventory transfers, and stock replenishment activities.
- Ensure compliance with inventory control policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare inventory performance dashboards and management reports.
- Support ERP system enhancements and inventory management technology initiatives.
- Participate in cross-functional projects focused on supply chain optimization.
- Maintain detailed documentation supporting inventory transactions and audit readiness.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in inventory control, logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar inventory management platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience analyzing inventory data.
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles, warehouse operations, and supply chain processes.
- Experience preparing inventory reports and performing data analysis.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- APICS/ASCM certifications or other supply chain certifications are considered an advantage.

Job Function

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package
Base Salary: $165,000 – $235,000 USD annually
Compensation is determined based on inventory management experience, supply chain expertise, technical skills, geographic location, and overall qualifications.
