We are seeking an accomplished IT Program Manager to lead complex, enterprise-scale technology programs that modernize critical platforms, strengthen digital capabilities, improve operational resilience, and enable the organization’s long-term business strategy.
This position sits at the intersection of technology strategy, program execution, cloud transformation, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, data, infrastructure, financial management, and organizational change.
The programs under this leader’s direction will extend beyond individual technology implementations. They may involve multiple engineering and business teams, interconnected platforms, strategic vendors, substantial investment, regulatory considerations, and dependencies that span the enterprise.
Initiatives may include cloud modernization, ERP or CRM transformation, cybersecurity programs, data-platform development, AI enablement, infrastructure modernization, application rationalization, enterprise integrations, or major digital-transformation portfolios.
The IT Program Manager will create the structure required to move these programs from strategic intent to measurable business outcomes.
You will work closely with CIO/CTO organizations, Engineering, Security, Architecture, Data, Product, Finance, Procurement, Operations, and business leadership to establish program direction, manage dependencies, resolve obstacles, control investment, and maintain executive visibility.
We are looking for someone who understands that successful technology transformation requires more than maintaining schedules.

Partner with Cybersecurity, Risk, Compliance, and Architecture teams.
Track remediation of significant security or technology risks.
Ensure appropriate governance for sensitive systems and information.
Incorporate regulatory and control requirements into program plans.
Escalate material technology risks to leadership with clear options and recommendations.
Establish disciplined governance without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
Define decision rights and escalation pathways.
Lead program steering committees and executive reviews.
Maintain program-level risk, issue, dependency, and decision registers.
Ensure major decisions have clear owners and deadlines.
Provide leadership with concise, decision-oriented reporting.
Maintain appropriate program documentation and controls.
Manage significant technology program budgets.
Develop forecasts and monitor actual spending.
Track internal labor, vendor, software, infrastructure, and implementation costs.
Partner with Finance on budget planning and variance management.
Evaluate financial impacts of program changes.

Ensure technology investment remains aligned with strategic value.
Coordinate major technology vendors, systems integrators, consultants, and implementation partners.
Support vendor selection and commercial evaluation.
Establish measurable delivery expectations.
Monitor vendor milestones and performance.
Identify contractual or delivery risks.
Coordinate Procurement, Legal, Technology, and business stakeholders.
Hold external partners accountable for commitments.
Identify risks before they become delivery failures.
Maintain enterprise-level dependency visibility.
Evaluate schedule, financial, operational, security, and resource impacts.
Develop mitigation and contingency plans.
Facilitate resolution of cross-functional issues.
Escalate decisions when required.
Maintain executive transparency around program health.
Partner with business leaders and Change Management teams on organizational readiness.
Identify impacted processes, teams, and roles.
Coordinate training and communication strategies.
Support adoption planning.
Establish readiness criteria before major deployments.
Monitor post-launch adoption and operational stability.
Ensure technical delivery translates into sustainable business change.

PMP, PgMP, SAFe, PMI-ACP, ITIL, or comparable professional certifications are valued but not required where equivalent experience is demonstrated.
You understand how a technology decision can affect operations, customers, security, finance, architecture, data, and organizational readiness simultaneously.
You can distinguish routine delivery noise from an issue capable of materially changing program outcomes.
You understand technology deeply enough to engage credibly with architects and engineers without attempting to replace their technical ownership.
You communicate program health clearly, including uncomfortable information when leadership attention is required.
You treat program investment with the same rigor as schedule and scope.
You can create accountability across teams that may not report directly to you.
You bring stakeholders together to make decisions rather than allowing unresolved issues to remain indefinitely in status reports.
You remain structured when priorities change, dependencies break, or major delivery challenges emerge.
You measure success by whether technology creates the intended business outcome—not simply whether the project technically launched.
The IT Program Manager may support major enterprise priorities including:
Cloud transformation
Digital modernization
Enterprise application transformation
ERP and CRM modernization
Cybersecurity programs
AI enablement
Data and analytics modernization
Infrastructure transformation
Application rationalization
Technology cost optimization
M&A technology integration
Business continuity and resilience
Enterprise architecture initiatives
Technology operating-model transformation
Automation programs
Global technology expansion
The program portfolio may evolve as enterprise priorities change, providing broad exposure to strategic technology investments.
Remote or flexible working arrangements may be available depending on organizational requirements.
Regular interaction with Technology executives, Engineering, Security, Architecture, Data, Finance, Operations, and business leadership.
Multiple complex workstreams may operate simultaneously across different locations and time zones.
Periodic domestic or international travel may be required for major implementations, vendor engagements, executive planning, or program milestones.
Additional availability may occasionally be required during migrations, production cutovers, critical releases, or major incidents.
The role requires significant autonomy, executive judgment, and disciplined handling of confidential technology, financial, security, and business information.

Large technology programs rarely fail because someone forgot to update a project plan.
They fail when technical dependencies are discovered too late, decisions remain unresolved, business teams are not ready, vendor accountability weakens, investment loses alignment with strategy, or individual projects succeed while the overall transformation does not.
This role exists to prevent that disconnect.
You will have visibility across the complete technology landscape and the authority to bring the right people together when major decisions need to be made.
You will work across Technology, Engineering, Security, Data, Architecture, Finance, Operations, Product, and executive leadership, giving you a broad view of how enterprise technology decisions become business capabilities.
The work will connect:
Technology Strategy → Investment → Program Architecture → Execution → Adoption → Business Value
For an experienced technology program leader who wants ownership of initiatives large enough to materially change how an organization operates, this position offers meaningful scope, executive visibility, and the opportunity to lead transformation rather than simply administer projects.
