As our global technology footprint expands, we are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to support the design, implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and security of enterprise network infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable connectivity, maximizing network performance, strengthening cybersecurity, and supporting business continuity across all corporate locations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in enterprise networking, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering secure, highly available, and scalable network services within a fast-paced technology environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Network Administration & Infrastructure Management

Install, configure, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, wireless networks, firewalls, and VPN solutions.
Monitor network availability, bandwidth utilization, latency, and overall system performance.
Perform routine maintenance, firmware updates, patch management, and hardware upgrades.
Ensure high availability of critical business networks across multiple corporate offices and remote locations.

Network Security & Compliance

Implement and maintain enterprise security controls including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, access control lists, and network segmentation.
Monitor network traffic for security threats, vulnerabilities, and unusual activity.
Support implementation of Zero Trust architecture and cybersecurity best practices.
Assist with security audits, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Maintain secure remote access solutions for hybrid and remote workforce environments.

Cloud & Hybrid Network Support

Support connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
Configure VPN tunnels, SD-WAN solutions, and cloud networking services.
Assist with cloud migration projects and hybrid network optimization.
Maintain secure communication across global cloud environments.

Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Diagnose and resolve network outages, connectivity issues, and infrastructure failures.
Utilize monitoring platforms to proactively identify performance bottlenecks.
Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective solutions.
Maintain detailed incident documentation and technical reports.

Infrastructure Projects

Participate in enterprise technology deployments, office expansions, infrastructure upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
Support implementation of new networking technologies and automation solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams on infrastructure modernization projects.
Assist in disaster recovery planning and business continuity testing.

Documentation & Asset Management

Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration documentation, asset inventories, and operational procedures.
Document standard operating procedures and infrastructure changes.
Ensure compliance with documentation standards and change management policies.

Technical Support

Provide Tier II and Tier III network support for internal users and technical teams.
Collaborate with system administrators, cybersecurity analysts, cloud engineers, and service desk personnel.
Escalate complex infrastructure issues when appropriate.
Support executive leadership and business-critical technology initiatives.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
4–8+ years of experience administering enterprise network environments.
Professional certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Fortinet NSE, Juniper JNCIA, Microsoft Azure Networking, or equivalent preferred.
Strong experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Meraki, or similar enterprise networking technologies.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, MPLS, wireless networking, and network security principles.
Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server, Linux environments, virtualization technologies, and cloud networking platforms.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Wireshark, or similar solutions.

Network administrator
