Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across corporate and remote locations.
- Manage routing, switching, wireless networking, VPNs, SD-WAN, WAN, LAN, and network segmentation initiatives.
- Monitor network performance, availability, capacity, and security while proactively identifying optimization opportunities.
- Troubleshoot complex network connectivity, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and performance-related issues.
- Configure and maintain enterprise firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, load balancers, and secure remote access solutions.
- Support cloud networking integration across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Develop and maintain network architecture documentation, diagrams, standards, and operating procedures.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity teams to implement secure network designs and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Perform network upgrades, firmware updates, hardware refreshes, and infrastructure modernization projects.
- Support disaster recovery planning, redundancy strategies, and business continuity initiatives.
- Analyze network traffic, utilization trends, and performance metrics to improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with vendors, internet service providers, and technology partners to resolve infrastructure issues.
- Participate in change management, maintenance planning, and scheduled implementation activities.
- Support enterprise monitoring platforms and incident response processes.
- Maintain compliance with organizational technology standards, security policies, and industry best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen network reliability, scalability, and operational resilience.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
- Strong expertise with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, or equivalent networking technologies.
- Experience configuring routers, switches, wireless infrastructure, VPNs, SD-WAN, and enterprise firewalls.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, MPLS, QoS, DNS, DHCP, and IPv6.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Cisco DNA Center, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts within AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of network security architecture, zero-trust principles, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience supporting high-availability and redundant enterprise network environments.
- Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Working Conditions
- Hybrid work environment based in Dallas, Texas.
- Standard Monday through Friday business schedule with participation in on-call rotations as required.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package: $165,000 – $235,000 annually, based on experience, networking expertise, technical certifications, and overall qualifications.
