About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and strategically minded Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and growth of critical products and product portfolios.

The Principal Product Manager will operate at a senior strategic level, working closely with executive leadership, Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to define product direction and deliver solutions that create measurable customer and business value.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define and execute product strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Establish product vision, strategic priorities, and long-term roadmaps.
  • Own product initiatives from discovery through development, launch, and optimization.
  • Identify customer needs through research, market analysis, behavioral data, and feedback.
  • Translate customer and business requirements into clear product opportunities.
  • Develop product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and strategic briefs.
  • Prioritize product investments based on customer value, business impact, feasibility, and risk.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Design to deliver high-quality product experiences.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through complex product-development initiatives.
  • Establish product KPIs, success metrics, and performance targets.
  • Analyze product performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and monitor industry and technology trends.
  • Develop business cases and investment recommendations for major product initiatives.
  • Lead product discovery, experimentation, and validation programs.
  • Support product launches and develop go-to-market strategies with Marketing and Sales.
  • Manage product dependencies, risks, trade-offs, and strategic decisions.
  • Communicate product strategy and progress to executives and key stakeholders.
  • Influence product-management standards and practices across the organization.
  • Mentor Product Managers and contribute to product leadership development.
  • Identify opportunities for new products, features, markets, and revenue streams.
  • Represent customer needs and product priorities in executive-level discussions.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of product-management or closely related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience owning complex products or significant product portfolios.
  • Strong experience developing product strategy and long-term roadmaps.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong understanding of product discovery, experimentation, development, and launch processes.
  • Experience using quantitative and qualitative data to drive product decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and modern product-development methodologies.
  • Experience with analytics, experimentation, and product-management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of customer experience, competitive positioning, and market dynamics.
  • MBA or advanced technical/business degree is a plus.

Strategic Support

The Principal Product Manager will serve as a senior product leader responsible for solving complex customer problems and translating them into scalable product strategies.

The role will influence major product investments, portfolio priorities, customer experiences, technology decisions, and growth initiatives. The position will also help establish stronger product-management practices and mentor other product leaders across the organization.

Working Conditions

  • Fully Remote position within the United States.
  • Standard Monday through Friday schedule.
  • Flexible hours may occasionally be required for executive meetings, product launches, customer sessions, or major releases.
  • Frequent virtual collaboration with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, Sales, and executive leadership.
  • Primarily computer-based strategic and product-development work.
  • Occasional travel may be required for customer meetings, executive planning sessions, conferences, and company events.

Job Function

The Principal Product Manager leads product strategy, product vision, roadmap development, customer research, product discovery, prioritization, cross-functional execution, experimentation, product analytics, commercialization, and product leadership.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package: $210,000 – $325,000 annually, based on product leadership experience, portfolio complexity, industry expertise, business impact, and overall qualifications.
