QA Engineer

Admiral Talent > Jobs > QA Engineer

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished QA Engineer to help engineer quality into complex, business-critical software platforms used across modern digital environments.

This is not a role where Quality Assurance begins after development is finished.

Our engineering model treats quality as a responsibility that starts during architecture and product definition and continues through development, automated testing, deployment, production monitoring, and continuous improvement.

The QA Engineer will work directly with Software Engineering, Product, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Security, Data, and Site Reliability Engineering to develop testing strategies for applications and services that must remain reliable as functionality, traffic, integrations, and technical complexity increase.

You will design automated test frameworks, validate APIs and distributed services, investigate difficult defects, improve CI/CD quality controls, evaluate system performance, and help teams identify risks before software reaches customers.

The environment may include microservices, REST and GraphQL APIs, cloud infrastructure, containerized workloads, event-driven systems, web applications, data pipelines, and AI-enabled product capabilities.

We are looking for someone who understands that modern quality engineering is not simply about finding defects.

It is about building systems and engineering practices that make defects more difficult to introduce, easier to detect, and faster to diagnose when they occur.

Why Join Us

Quality Engineering is most valuable when it changes how software is built, not simply how software is checked.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence architecture, automation, CI/CD, release practices, observability, performance, and engineering standards—not wait at the end of the development cycle for a build to test.

You will work with engineers building modern cloud-based systems and have room to introduce better automation, stronger API coverage, smarter performance testing, earlier risk detection, and emerging approaches to AI-enabled quality engineering.

Your impact will connect:

Product Design → Engineering → Automated Quality → CI/CD → Release → Production Reliability

For a QA Engineer who enjoys writing code, breaking complex systems intelligently, understanding why failures happen, and improving the engineering practices that prevent those failures from recurring, this position provides substantial technical ownership and a clear opportunity to influence product quality at scale.
