We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join our Cybersecurity organization. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise security solutions that protect cloud infrastructure, applications, networks, and corporate systems against evolving cyber threats.

The Security Engineer will collaborate closely with Cloud Engineering, Software Development, DevOps, Infrastructure, Compliance, Risk Management, and Security Operations teams to strengthen the organization’s overall security posture. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise security solutions across cloud, network, application, and infrastructure environments.
  • Develop and enhance cloud security architectures for AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Implement Zero Trust security principles, identity and access management (IAM), and privileged access controls.
  • Perform security assessments, vulnerability management, penetration testing coordination, and remediation planning.
  • Monitor security events, investigate threats, and collaborate with Security Operations to respond to security incidents.
  • Deploy and manage endpoint protection, firewalls, web application firewalls (WAF), intrusion detection, and security monitoring platforms.
  • Support secure software development practices by integrating security throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Automate security operations using scripting, Infrastructure as Code, and security orchestration technologies.
  • Conduct security architecture reviews for enterprise applications and cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with Compliance and Risk teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop security documentation, technical standards, and incident response procedures.
  • Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies and recommend improvements that strengthen enterprise security.
  • Mentor junior security professionals while promoting cybersecurity best practices across the organization.
  • Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and enterprise resilience initiatives.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, cloud security, or infrastructure security.
  • Strong expertise with cloud security services across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM), Zero Trust Architecture, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, encryption technologies, and network security principles.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.
  • Knowledge of container security, Kubernetes security, and Infrastructure as Code security.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks including NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Experience with vulnerability management, penetration testing, and incident response.
  • CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, Security+, CEH, AWS Security Specialty, or equivalent cybersecurity certification is highly preferred.

Job Function

The Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise cybersecurity solutions that protect cloud infrastructure, applications, networks, and digital assets. This role partners with engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, compliance, and security operations teams to strengthen security architecture, automate security processes, and improve the organization’s overall cyber resilience. Success is measured through security effectiveness, infrastructure protection, regulatory compliance, operational resilience, and continuous security improvement.


Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package

Base Salary: $290,000 – $360,000 USD annually

Compensation is determined based on cybersecurity expertise, technical certifications, cloud security experience, business impact, geographic location, and overall qualifications.
