About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and analytically rigorous Senior Data Scientist to develop advanced analytical models, machine-learning solutions, experimentation frameworks, and data-driven strategies that support critical business decisions.

The Senior Data Scientist will work closely with Product, Engineering, Business, Marketing, Finance, and Analytics teams to transform complex datasets into actionable insights and scalable predictive solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong statistical expertise with practical machine-learning experience and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly to business and executive stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain statistical and machine-learning models.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities.
• Design experiments and A/B tests to evaluate products, features, and business initiatives.
• Develop predictive models for customer behavior, revenue, demand, risk, and operational performance.
• Perform statistical analysis and establish appropriate methodologies for business problems.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to develop reliable data pipelines and analytical datasets.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to integrate models into production systems.
• Develop dashboards, analytical reports, and data visualizations where appropriate.
• Evaluate model performance, accuracy, stability, and business impact.
• Perform feature engineering, model selection, validation, and optimization.
• Establish model-monitoring and performance-evaluation processes.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and communicate key findings.
• Build analytical frameworks that support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Develop documentation for models, methodologies, assumptions, and analytical processes.
• Present technical findings and recommendations to senior business stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive analytical processes.
• Research emerging machine-learning, statistical, and artificial-intelligence techniques.
• Mentor junior and mid-level Data Scientists.
• Contribute to data-science standards, best practices, and technical strategy.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field preferred.
• 5–8 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, advanced analytics, or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Advanced knowledge of statistics, probability, experimental design, and predictive modeling.
• Experience with machine-learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or comparable technologies.
• Strong experience with data manipulation and analytical libraries such as pandas and NumPy.
• Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based data platforms.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud preferred.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or comparable platforms.
• Strong understanding of model validation, feature engineering, and performance evaluation.
• Experience deploying or collaborating on production machine-learning systems is preferred.
• Experience with Git and modern software-development practices.

This role will contribute to initiatives involving predictive analytics, machine learning, experimentation, customer intelligence, forecasting, optimization, and artificial intelligence, while ensuring analytical solutions deliver measurable business value.

Working Conditions

• Fully Remote position within the United States.
• Standard Monday through Friday schedule.
• Occasional flexibility may be required for major analytical initiatives, model deployments, or stakeholder presentations.
• Frequent virtual collaboration with Data Engineering, Product, Technology, Finance, Marketing, and business leadership.
• Primarily computer-based analytical work using data science, cloud, visualization, and collaboration platforms.
• Occasional travel may be required for company meetings, technical conferences, workshops, or team events.

Job Function

The Senior Data Scientist is responsible for advanced analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, predictive modeling, experimentation, data visualization, model evaluation, business intelligence, and data-driven decision support.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package: $175,000 – $270,000 annually, based on data-science experience, technical specialization, machine-learning expertise, industry background, leadership capabilities, and overall qualifications.
