As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will collaborate closely with Executive Leadership, Operations, Finance, Legal, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, and Employee Relations teams to align human capital strategies with organizational objectives. You will play a critical role in developing high-performing teams, supporting transformational initiatives, strengthening organizational culture, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations while delivering exceptional HR partnership across multiple business units.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with executive leaders to develop and implement strategic human capital initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary HR advisor for assigned business units, providing guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies.
  • Lead organizational change management initiatives supporting business transformation and growth.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop workforce planning strategies and recruit high-performing talent.
  • Coach and advise senior leaders on leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Support organizational restructuring, workforce optimization, and change management initiatives.
  • Analyze workforce metrics, employee engagement data, turnover trends, and HR analytics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Compensation & Benefits teams on salary planning, incentive programs, and total rewards initiatives.
  • Lead employee relations matters, conflict resolution, investigations, and policy interpretation while ensuring compliance with employment laws.
  • Develop and implement diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives that strengthen organizational culture.
  • Partner with Learning & Development teams to identify leadership development and succession planning opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations and corporate HR policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, systems, and operational effectiveness.
  • Support annual talent reviews, performance evaluations, compensation planning, and organizational planning cycles.
  • Prepare executive reports and strategic recommendations related to workforce performance, organizational effectiveness, and HR initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture across all levels of the organization.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive Human Resources Business Partner experience supporting complex business organizations.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience partnering directly with senior leadership and executive teams.
  • Strong expertise in organizational development, change management, employee relations, workforce planning, and talent management.
  • Experience supporting healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other highly regulated industries is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, performance management, compensation practices, and organizational design.
  • Experience utilizing HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UKG.
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting workforce data and HR metrics.
  • Outstanding communication, executive influence, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Strategic Support

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor responsible for aligning human capital strategies with organizational priorities while strengthening leadership effectiveness, workforce capability, and employee engagement. This role partners closely with Executive Leadership, Finance, Operations, Legal, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Compensation teams to develop scalable people strategies that support sustainable business growth.

Through workforce planning, organizational development, leadership coaching, talent optimization, and data-driven HR decision-making, this position directly contributes to organizational performance, employee experience, succession planning, and long-term business success.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package: $210,000 – $295,000 annually, based on experience, strategic HR leadership, industry expertise, and overall qualifications.
