This role will be responsible for leading multi-million-dollar technology programs, managing cross-functional teams, coordinating executive stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of critical IT transformation projects. The Senior IT Project Manager will play a pivotal role in aligning technology investments with business objectives while ensuring project execution excellence, operational efficiency, and measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience managing complex enterprise technology initiatives, leading global project teams, navigating organizational change, and delivering technology programs within highly regulated and rapidly evolving business environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Enterprise Program & Project Leadership
- Lead large-scale enterprise technology projects from initiation through implementation and post-deployment optimization.
- Manage multiple concurrent programs involving cloud transformation, cybersecurity modernization, enterprise software deployment, and infrastructure initiatives.
- Establish project governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and executive expectations.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, resource strategies, budgets, risk assessments, and implementation roadmaps.
Digital Transformation & Technology Modernization
- Drive enterprise-wide digital transformation programs supporting operational efficiency and business growth.
- Oversee implementation of cloud migration initiatives, SaaS deployments, AI platforms, and technology modernization efforts.
- Coordinate technology integration projects involving enterprise systems, applications, and infrastructure environments.
- Ensure project outcomes align with long-term technology strategy and business priorities.
Stakeholder Management & Executive Communication
- Serve as primary liaison between technology teams, business leaders, executive stakeholders, vendors, and external partners.
- Provide executive-level reporting regarding project status, risks, milestones, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Facilitate steering committee meetings and executive governance reviews.
- Build strong relationships across business functions to ensure alignment and project success.
Project Governance & Risk Management
- Establish project controls, governance standards, and performance management frameworks.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies supporting successful execution.
- Monitor project scope, schedules, budgets, quality standards, and resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
Technology Delivery & Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with architecture, engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business teams throughout project lifecycles.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining quality and operational standards.
- Drive process improvements that enhance project delivery effectiveness and organizational efficiency.
- Promote best practices in project management methodologies and technology implementation frameworks.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, consulting firms, system integrators, and implementation partners.
- Oversee contract deliverables, vendor performance, and project accountability measures.
- Evaluate third-party technology solutions supporting enterprise objectives.
- Coordinate external resources to ensure successful project execution.
Change Management & Organizational Adoption
- Lead organizational change initiatives supporting technology adoption and business transformation.
- Develop communication plans, training programs, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Ensure smooth transition of new technologies into operational environments.
- Support business units in maximizing value from technology investments.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Master’s degree in Technology Management, Information Systems, or MBA preferred.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent project management certifications strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience managing enterprise IT projects and transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience leading large-scale technology implementations with budgets exceeding multi-million-dollar investments.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing, enterprise applications, cybersecurity initiatives, infrastructure modernization, and digital transformation programs.
- Experience working within enterprise technology, financial services, healthcare technology, SaaS, or multinational organizations is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package: $250,000 – $340,000
