The Senior Project Manager partners with executive leadership, Product Management, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Information Technology, Customer Success, and external stakeholders to coordinate cross-functional initiatives across multiple business units. This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder management, and execution capabilities to ensure successful project outcomes within scope, budget, and timeline.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-level projects and strategic transformation initiatives from planning through successful implementation.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, roadmaps, budgets, schedules, resource plans, and risk management strategies.
  • Manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define project objectives, success metrics, and business outcomes.
  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders, executive sponsors, project teams, and external partners.
  • Monitor project performance, budgets, schedules, risks, dependencies, and resource utilization.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies that minimize business impact.
  • Lead Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies based on organizational requirements.
  • Prepare executive dashboards, project status reports, financial summaries, and governance documentation.
  • Coordinate vendor relationships, contract deliverables, and third-party project activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement across project management processes and governance frameworks.
  • Mentor Project Managers and Project Coordinators while promoting PMO best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, quality requirements, and regulatory expectations.
  • Support organizational change management and business adoption activities throughout project delivery.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Management, or a related discipline required.
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive project management experience leading enterprise initiatives.
  • Proven experience managing complex technology, digital transformation, or business process improvement projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Lean, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, or similar project management platforms.
  • Strong financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning capabilities.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed and cross-functional teams.
  • PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification strongly preferred.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Working Conditions

  • Fully Remote position within the United States.
  • Flexible executive schedule supporting collaboration across multiple U.S. and international time zones.
  • Approximately 15–20% domestic travel for executive meetings, project planning workshops, customer engagements, and leadership conferences.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package

Base Salary: $318,000 – $388,000 USD annually

Compensation is determined based on project leadership experience, program complexity, industry expertise, geographic location, certifications, and overall qualifications.
