About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Chain Manager to lead supply chain planning, procurement coordination, inventory management, logistics operations, supplier performance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for developing efficient supply chain processes that support business growth, cost optimization, service quality, and operational resilience.
The Supply Chain Manager will collaborate closely with Procurement, Operations, Finance, Sales, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics, Quality, and Executive Leadership to ensure products and materials are available when needed while maintaining appropriate inventory levels and controlling operating costs.
The ideal candidate brings strong supply chain expertise, analytical capabilities, vendor management experience, and a proven ability to optimize complex processes. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced remote environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Manage demand planning, supply planning, inventory forecasting, and replenishment activities.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize working capital while maintaining appropriate service levels.
- Coordinate procurement activities and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier performance, pricing, quality, capacity, lead times, and delivery reliability.
- Negotiate supplier agreements, pricing, terms, and service-level expectations.
- Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to maintain business continuity.
- Collaborate with Finance to manage supply chain budgets, cost analysis, and savings initiatives.
- Partner with Operations and Logistics teams to optimize transportation, warehousing, and fulfillment processes.
- Monitor key supply chain KPIs including inventory turnover, forecast accuracy, supplier performance, order fulfillment, and logistics costs.
- Implement process improvements, automation, and technology solutions to increase supply chain efficiency.
- Develop and maintain supply chain policies, procedures, documentation, and performance standards.
- Analyze market conditions, supplier capacity, commodity trends, and potential disruptions.
- Lead cross-functional supply chain improvement projects and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare supply chain performance reports, forecasts, and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Mentor and develop supply chain professionals while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, or operations.
- Minimum 3 years of management or leadership experience.
- Strong experience with demand planning, inventory management, procurement, supplier management, and logistics.
- Experience with ERP and supply chain management systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and financial skills with experience using supply chain data to support decisions.
- Knowledge of forecasting, inventory optimization, sourcing, transportation, and distribution processes.
- Strong negotiation, communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
- APICS, CSCP, CPSM, or related professional certification preferred.

Working Conditions
- Fully Remote position within the United States.
- Standard Monday through Friday business schedule with flexibility during critical supply chain events.
- Frequent collaboration with suppliers, logistics partners, internal operations teams, and business stakeholders.
- Occasional domestic and international travel for supplier meetings, strategic planning, industry conferences, and operational reviews.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package: $190,000 – $285,000 annually, based on supply chain leadership experience, organizational complexity, industry expertise, technical capabilities, and overall qualifications.
