Our Enterprise Risk Management & Information Security organization partners with business and technology leaders to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks across the enterprise. We are seeking an experienced Technical Risk Manager to lead technology risk assessments, cybersecurity governance, operational resilience initiatives, and enterprise risk management programs. This role is responsible for evaluating technology risks, developing mitigation strategies, improving security controls, supporting regulatory compliance, and advising executive leadership on emerging technology threats and business risks.

The Technical Risk Manager collaborates with Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, IT Operations, Internal Audit, Compliance, Legal, Privacy, Product Management, and Executive Leadership to strengthen enterprise security while enabling innovation and business growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead enterprise technology risk assessments across cloud, infrastructure, software, and business systems.
Identify, evaluate, and prioritize cybersecurity, operational, and technology risks.
Develop and maintain enterprise technology risk registers and mitigation plans.
Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to strengthen security controls and reduce organizational risk.
Conduct risk assessments for cloud platforms, third-party vendors, applications, and enterprise technology initiatives.
Support governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) programs while ensuring alignment with industry frameworks.
Monitor regulatory requirements and emerging cybersecurity threats affecting the organization.
Develop executive risk reports, dashboards, and key risk indicator (KRI) metrics.
Lead remediation planning and monitor corrective action implementation.
Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and operational resilience initiatives.
Collaborate with Internal Audit during technology audits and compliance reviews.
Provide guidance on secure architecture, technology governance, and risk-based decision-making.
Mentor junior risk analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise risk processes.
Promote a culture of security awareness, governance, and risk management throughout the organization.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Risk Management, or a related discipline required.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in technology risk, cybersecurity, IT audit, governance, compliance, or enterprise risk management.
Strong understanding of risk management frameworks including NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, COBIT, COSO, and FAIR.
Experience with cloud security platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of security technologies, identity and access management, vulnerability management, and enterprise architecture.
Experience supporting regulatory compliance including SOX, SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, or other applicable standards.
Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms such as ServiceNow GRC, Archer, MetricStream, or similar tools.
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, CGEIT, or AWS Security Specialty are highly preferred.
Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Job Function

The Technical Risk Manager is responsible for leading enterprise technology risk management initiatives, evaluating cybersecurity and operational risks, strengthening governance programs, and supporting secure technology adoption. Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package

Base Salary: $356,000 – $414,000 USD annually

Compensation is determined based on technology risk leadership experience, cybersecurity expertise, regulatory knowledge, certifications, geographic location, education, and overall qualifications.
