We are seeking an experienced Territory Manager to lead sales growth and customer engagement across an assigned geographic territory. This role is responsible for developing strategic account plans, identifying new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and executing territory growth initiatives that support enterprise revenue goals.

The Territory Manager works closely with Regional Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product Management, Sales Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership to maximize territory performance, improve customer retention, and strengthen market presence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive territory business plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across assigned markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, distributors, partners, and key decision-makers.
  • Conduct customer meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and business reviews.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and closing.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to support lead generation, promotional campaigns, and market expansion initiatives.
  • Analyze territory performance, market trends, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and territory performance dashboards.
  • Partner with Customer Success to ensure successful onboarding, implementation, and long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements within company guidelines.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, customer events, and industry networking opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and customer documentation.
  • Mentor junior sales professionals and share best practices across the sales organization.
  • Support strategic initiatives that improve market share, customer loyalty, and revenue growth.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a related discipline required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in territory sales, business development, account management, or field sales.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas and territory growth objectives.
  • Experience managing distributor, channel, or enterprise customer relationships is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of consultative sales methodologies and strategic account planning.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, or similar systems.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and executive communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Working Conditions

  • Fully Remote position within the United States.

Job Function

The Territory Manager is responsible for managing all sales and customer relationship activities within an assigned geographic territory. This role develops strategic territory plans, drives revenue growth, expands market share, manages key customer accounts, and collaborates with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Success is measured through revenue attainment, territory growth, customer retention, pipeline development, market penetration, and overall business impact.


Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package

Base Salary: $338,000 – $386,000 USD annually

Compensation is determined based on sales leadership experience, territory size, industry expertise, geographic location, education, demonstrated performance, and overall qualifications.
