• Evaluate and implement logistics technology, automation tools, visibility platforms, warehouse systems, transportation management systems, analytics platforms, and AI-enabled planning capabilities.
• Manage supplier, carrier, 3PL, freight broker, warehouse partner, and logistics vendor relationships to ensure quality, accountability, cost control, and service consistency.
• Partner with Finance to manage supply chain budgets, logistics costs, vendor spend, cost-to-serve analysis, margin impact, capital needs, and investment returns.
• Lead network optimization initiatives, including distribution footprint review, fulfillment model design, freight lane analysis, regional capacity planning, and service-level improvement.
• Build, mentor, and lead supply chain and logistics teams while creating a culture of accountability, operational discipline, continuous improvement, and customer-focused execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related field required.
• MBA, master’s degree, or advanced supply chain, operations, or logistics-related education strongly preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, CLTD, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar credentials preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain leadership, logistics operations, transportation management, fulfillment, distribution, procurement operations, network planning, or enterprise operations.
• 8+ years of senior leadership experience managing supply chain teams, logistics organizations, distribution networks, transportation programs, fulfillment operations, or vendor ecosystems.
• Experience within ecommerce, manufacturing distribution, retail operations, consumer goods, logistics technology, industrial products, healthcare logistics, supply chain technology, or large enterprise operations strongly preferred.
• Proven success improving supply chain performance, reducing logistics cost, increasing delivery reliability, optimizing networks, strengthening vendor performance, and leading large operational teams.
• Strong understanding of transportation management, warehouse operations, inventory flow, demand and supply planning, fulfillment models, carrier strategy, freight procurement, and supply chain analytics.
• Experience working with TMS, WMS, ERP, demand planning, inventory optimization, carrier management, business intelligence, and logistics visibility platforms.
• Familiarity with tools such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, Coupa, E2open, project44, FourKites, Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, or similar systems preferred.
